Dental Emergency
While it is our goal to ensure your oral health needs are met in order to avoid pain, we understand that sometimes dental emergencies can happen. We have provided an outline for our patients to reference if there is an emergency outside of our normal business hours.
At this time we reserve emergency care outside of normal business hours for those who are currently patients of record. If you are NOT an existing patient of our practice and you are experiencing dental pain, please visit your local urgent care or emergency room, or contact us during normal business hours
If you are an existing patient experiencing a dental emergency, please use our guidelines below to determine the appropriate course of action.
- If you are experiencing severe pain, swelling, redness, or any infection nearing the eye or throat, please seek medical attention at your nearest emergency room.
- If you have a chipped tooth, broken filling, lost temporary crown, or have any other minor dental problem, please call our office and leave a message, and we will get in touch with you as soon as we open the next business day.
- If you have a symptomatic broken tooth, dental infection, or have had an accident or injury that needs immediate attention, please call our emergency line at (419) 515-2945.
*If you have a temporary crown that has come off, please visit your local pharmacy for temporary crown “glue” that you can use to replace the temporary crown. If the temporary crown is off and you are not uncomfortable, is it ok to be left off until our office opens for us to recement the crown.
